Refund and Returns Policy

Shipping and Delivery: The artwork will be delivered/shipped to the Buyer directly by the Artist through a courier service selected either by the seller or by Kala Sanskruti. Kala Sanskruti is not liable for the condition of the artwork at any point in transit/delivery process.

Shipping Policy: We aim to deliver your orders within 7 to 15 days from the date of purchase. However, please note that delivery times may vary depending on your location and the shipping carrier.

Unpackaging Advice: To ensure that you can claim for any damage caused during shipping, we advise our customers to make a video & click photograph of the unpackaging process when they receive their parcel via courier. This video must be submitted with any damage claim that you wish to make. We regret to inform you that any damage claim without the aforementioned video & photograph will not be entertained.

Damaged Artworks: If the artwork is received in an unsatisfactory condition by the buyer, the buyer should not accept the parcel and should notify Kala Sanskruti immediately. With the unpacking video and photographs of the damage and an email specifying the damage. Artworks received in an unsatisfactory condition by the buyer may be returned to the Artist within 5 working days in an ‘as is’ condition of order receipt in the original packaging along with a copy of your invoice or order acknowledgement. Original shipping charges are not refunded on returned items. Customers are responsible for all shipping charges back to Kala Sanskruti on returned items, and Kala Sanskruti will pay the shipping charges on replacement product(s). Returns can be for replacement, refund, or credit at Kala Sanskruti’s discretion.

Unsatisfactory Condition: The unsatisfactory condition will only be covered for damaged or spoilt condition, and NOT because the buyer did not like the artwork that they have purchased.

Colour and Form: While great care is taken to reproduce the colors and form of paintings as depicted on the website, it is understood that since each painting is individually painted, there may be variations in shade and color. No complaints in this regard would be entertained. Kala Sanskruti is not obligated to provide any physical preview of the artwork either before or after the sale.

Disclaimer: We at Kala Sanskruti take great pride in offering unique artworks that are truly one-of-a-kind. However, it’s important to note that since each artwork is singular, there is only one piece available for sale.

In the unlikely event that multiple customers purchase the same artwork at the same time, the artwork will be sold and delivered to the first buyer, and any subsequent payments received from other buyers will be refunded in full from the Kala Sanskruti account.

We apologize in advance for any inconvenience this may cause and assure you that we will do everything in our power to ensure that our customers are completely satisfied with their purchases. If you have any questions or concerns regarding this policy, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Return Process: If a buyer elects to return a piece of Art (only if met by our Refund policy norms), the buyer must write to Kala Sanskruti.com With the unpacking video and photographs of the damage and an email specifying the damage. We shall debit seller for the Purchase Fees less any insurance, packing, freight and transport fees associated with buyer’s purchase. Reimbursement shall be made by issuing a credit card refund if payment to Kala Sanskruti was made by credit card or by cheque if payment was made by cheque. Insurance, packing and shipping fees associated with the return of the returned piece of Art shall be the sole responsibility of the buyer, and Kala Sanskruti.com shall have no obligation to reimburse the buyer for such amounts.

Refund Policy: We understand that receiving a damaged product can be disappointing. However, if your damage claim meets the terms outlined in our Unpackaging Advice, we will process your refund within 5 to 15 days of your claim being approved. Credit Posting: If your return merchandise is accepted, we will post a credit to your account within 5 – 10 business days from the time that we receive the product(s). Each return is credited in the same manner as payment. For example, if you paid for your order with a credit card, the credit will be applied to that card/refund to your account/amount will be deposited in your account whichever mode is the sole right of Kala Sanskruti.
